Founded in 2018, DeNoize is a young startup tackling the problem of noise pollution in major cities. DeNoize has developed an innovative technology that can transform a glass window into a smart system, performing active noise cancellation on the outdoor noise. Based in Gardanne (France) at the Georges Charpak Provence Campus of Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne, DeNoize benefits from the dynamism of the Aix-Marseille technological ecosystem and an exceptional working environment.
Your objective will be to design and develop electronic components of the active noise cancelling system, and in particular the real-time controller, responsible for analyzing the signals measured by the sensors and calculating the optimal cancellation signals to drive the actuators. You will have a key position, at the crossroads of many disciplines such as real-time embedded electronics, mechanics, sensors and actuators, signal processing and algorithms.
MSc or PhD in mechatronics, electronics or related fields with 2+ years of experience in mechatronic/electronic systems design and development.
You have an expertise in the design and development of real-time electronic boards, including in particular the implementation of control systems (feedback, feed-forward, adaptive filters).
You have a solid background in electronics and have experience in digital audio and acoustic signal processing.
Knowledge of piezoelectric actuators and MEMS sensors is a significant advantage.
Fluency in English is required for this position.
